In 2004, we were introduced to the game of Kubb (pronouced "koob") by our friends at Bald Eagle Boys Camp. Since then, Kubb has quickly become one of our favorite family yard games. Also called "Viking Chess", Kubb originated on the island of Gotland in Sweden. It is quickly gaining popularity in the United States because of its wonderful mix of throwing skill, strategy, and luck. It has been compared to "Horseshoes, Bocce, and Cornhole all rolled into one great game". Kubb is easy to learn to play and can be played with 2-12 players to accommodate large or small groups.

Our Kubb Games are made in Holmes County, Ohio by our Amish friends. Each Deluxe Kubb Game Set is made out of hardwood harvested in the Appalachians. Each piece is made out of solid Hard Maple wood. Hard Maple wood is one of the hardest woods available. We only use solid pieces of wood in our Kubb Games, no glued together pieces like cheaper sets. Our Kubb Games are Official Size according to the U.S. National Kubb Championship Rules. The King is 10" high x 3 1/4" wide, the Kubbs are 5 15/16" high x 2 3/4" wide, and the Batons are 11 7/8" long x 1 3/4" diameter. The Kubb Set includes 1 King, 10 Kubbs, 6 Throwing Batons, and 4 Boundary Stakes. Each of the kubbs and throwing batons feature beveled edges to resist chipping and cracking. Each game piece is finished with a clear protective finish for ultimate durability. Finally, it comes in a lovely burlap zippered carry bag for ease of storage and transporting.

Great buy!!

Bought this game before a family reunion and it was an immediate hit! Family members of all ages loved it and we made some great memories together. You’ll find them cheaper on Amazon, but just trust me and buy this set!! Superior craftsmanship is evident immediately on opening the set and it’s going to last you for years!! You won’t be disappointed with this purchase! Bought one for my brother and his family before the week was out. Thanks Larry!!

Excellent Quality and Customer Service!!

I did a lot of research before deciding on this Kubb set and I am very happy with the quality. Most of the sets that I was finding online said “hardwood”, but once I did some research I would discover that they were pine or poplar, which I would not consider a hardwood. This set is the only one made out of maple that I could find for a reasonable price. Customer service was great as well; I called with some questions/requests and Larry was very helpful. Overall a great experience!!

Great quality and workmanship

Kubb set arrived well packaged, all pieces are finely finished and treated, and even includes a carry case.
Can't wait for the weather to clear up so we can go outside and play!

High quality

I had never heard of Kubb before and I purchased this set on a whim. Kubb is a really fun game for the entire family. Kids and adults can compete against each other no problem. Easy to set up and fun to play. This Kubb set is heavy … which means its made to last a long time. The throwing batons feel particularly good in the hand and bounce off the ground nicely. I rate this Kubb set 5 out of 5.

I also received excellent customer service from Larry. He went out of his way to make sure this set was delivered in time for a birthday picnic, even though the delay in delivery was not his fault. The shipping company messed up but Larry fixed the problem and I had this set in time for the big picnic. Thanks Larry, I appreciate it.

Amazing Kubb Set

Best Kubb set I've ever seen or played with, hands down. As others have said, the materials and craftsmanship is outstanding.
